Amanda grew up in Brunswick, Ohio, a suburb located south of Cleveland. Raised by charitable parents who led by their selfless example, Amanda has been involved in volunteerism from a very young age. As a life-long troop supporter, Amanda is passionate about serving our “best and bravest” and is thrilled to have found an organization to dedicate her time and talents.
Amanda served as an OTA volunteer for three years before accepting the position of Vice President in March 2011. She serves as OTA’s Volunteer coordinator, facilitates efforts at OTA headquarters, including Packing events, and manages Community Project initiatives. Amanda is frequently seen around Pittsburgh at OTA events.
In 1997, she received her Bachelor’s of Arts in English and Sociology from Washington & Jefferson College, having spent a semester at Royal Holloway University in Surrey, England. Amanda earned her Master’s Degree from Duquesne University, studying Corporate Communication.
Happily married and settled in east Pittsburgh, Amanda enjoys spending time with family and friends, fly-fishing, skiing, shooting, and taking long walks with her dog.
