OTA CEO, Monica Orluk had the honor of being the Principal Speaker at Memorial Day Services held at the Calvary Cemetery, The Run War Memorial and the Hazelwood War Memorial in Pittsburgh PA.  Monica was joined by Allegheny County Commissioner, Rich Fitszgerald, State Representative Dan Frankel and City Councilman Cory O’Connor.  Invited by the members of VFW Post 274, Monica spoke as a representive of the very Americans our brave heroes died for.  Her poignant thoughts included a challenge to all in attendance to honor their service by giving to others, using their gifts and talents for good and being the best Americans they can be.  She closed her speech by reciting a quote sent to her “The most expensive thing you own is your Freedom.  Even if you didn’t pay for it”.  Thank you to all those who attended these special events!

OTA was invited to participate in Soldiers & Sailors Hall 2019 Memorial Day activities and had a wonderful time collecting cards to send to our troops overseas!  Thank you to all who participated and to the volunteers who spent their holiday collecting the cards and donations!

For the 3rd year in a row, Aiden has asked for donations to OTA in lieu of presents! Then he and his friends delivered these precious gifts to us! HAPPY BIRTHDAY AIDEN – YOU ROCK!

D-Day Pittsburgh 75 is a collaboration across our region to commemorate the 75th anniversary of D-Day, June 6, 1944, a pivotal event in the Allied Victory in World War II. We’re planning a series of public programs to honor our veterans, educate the public about D-Day and WWII, and highlight the role that Pittsburgh played in the war. We invite participation across our community and welcome planning help and program ideas to include on our calendar the first week of June 2019.

We are proud to be part of this great event!  For more information on events you can attend, please click here

A huge Shout Out to the Allegheny County Bar Association for the Young Lawyers Division for choosing OTA for this years Military & Veteran Project! They came together to assemble 175 care boxes Saturday! Way to go!
