Thanks from Kuwait HQ responsible for processing all troops deploying throughout the Middle East.

Dear OTA:

Thank you very much for the items and the Christmas cards that were sent over.
We distributed these to HQ and among those who transit our base as an administrative step in tracking their missions in Iraq and Syria.
The tide pods and smell good items were extremely favored.
The women said thank you for thinking of them, and everyone mentioned how good of quality the razors were.
We cook the food among different sections of HQ to make it seem more like home.

While the items were delivered directly to our HQ, we could not take immediate pictures due security regulations of our sections.
So we brought them out the next day for PT to take pictures then .
One of our guys actually got injured that day during PT, so while he was laying on the ground we just put a bag beside him so he could semi-participate in the photos.
He was in extreme pain but laughed when we did it. So way to go in making the pains of war disappear.

Happy Holidays!

My team and I can’t thank you enough for sending out those Christmas stockings to us that were full of awesome goodies. It really lifted our spirits during the hard days we’ve had lately being separated from our families during this holiday season. We sincerely appreciate all that your organization does for those overseas. I have attached some photos of my guys holding the stockings you sent over.  Happy Holidays!

Thank you so much, and let me know if you need anything else from me.
Happy New Year!

Happy Troops in Afghanistan!

Good morning,

I just wanted to take a quick minute to say THANK YOU for the  care packages!!! It’s a great feeling to see my troops get excited seeing me walk in with the packages because they know they’re going to get some great goodies. Thank you to all the volunteers and business who support me and my Soldiers and others across the globe.
I set up all the items like a little store and the items were gone in about 20mins. It was great to see their faces looking through the items!!!

Thank you very much for the love and support!!!

To The OTA Family,

Through my almost 17 years of service, I have been deployed several times to three different continents. I continue to be amazed by organizations like yours that keep supporting service members for almost two decades now. Where most of the stateside population has become fatigued and ‘supporting the troops’ has become cliché, people like OTA remind us that there are plenty of people who still remember why we’re here.

We cannot adequately articulate to you how much your effort & generosity truly means to us and all the service members you support. Please understand – what you do, it truly matters & makes a difference! So from the 79th and this guy from a small town in East Texas…THANK YOU!

Dear Operation Troop Appreciation,

Thank you for such a generous gift! The boxes couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. We were preparing for Easter, and getting some treats together for our Soldiers when the boxes arrived. What a blessing, because I was running out of things to put in their goodie bags. Thank you!

It’s never an easy thing to be away from the ones you love around the holidays, but receiving love and good thoughts from people back home make it a little easier – especially when it comes from a home-town organization! We have quite a few Soldiers with us from Western Pennsylvania (Go Pens!)

Again, thank you for what you do and thank you for your kindness and support.

God Bless,

Phillip R. Grant
